As we continue to experience high demand for our adult spaces, and with no other option to expand our Islington club, the difficult decision has been made to close Little Space. Our final day of operation will be Friday 4th April 2025, marking the end of the Spring Term.

Our swim school direct debit is calculated based on 42 classes over an 11-month period running from 1st Jan – 31st Dec. No direct debit will be taken in August but your swim school membership will run continuously until you request to cancel – giving one full and final calendar month notice running from the 1st. Cancellation is required in writing, email the Swim Manager swimming.islington@thirdspace.london
No, we only ask for a 3-month commitment. Should you cancel at any time during the fixed rate period – sessions run from your requested start date will be charged at the full swim class rate. This may result in a balance payable or refund due, depending on the amount debited to date. Your final notice direct debit will be adjusted accordingly.
Please give one full calendar month notice running for 1st of the month so we can adjust your final direct debit accordingly.
We are following and staying up to date with Swim England’s Guidelines. This document is available here.
Please bring your child ready for their lesson in their swimmers and goggles. If your child is in the main pool we’ll give them their own Little Space swim cap; please bring this with you to each lesson. We provide all the equipment.
A parent/guardian needs to accompany the child in these swim lessons so please be ready to get in the water. Children under 3yrs should wear a double nappy system for their swim class and during family swim – a disposable or reusable swim nappy, with a snug-fitting neoprene nappy on top with close- fitting leg and waist ribs.
We will try and re-arrange your swim lesson if it’s due to medical reasons. We don’t make-up or refund if you’re away.
You unfortunately can’t freeze your Swim Subscription. If you freeze your membership your child will be removed from the swim programme and will need to re-enrol when you return. Remember we break for holidays 2 weeks over Easter, 2 weeks over Christmas and 6 weeks over the summer. No Direct Debit is taken in August.
We encourage parents/guardians to drop off and pick up to minimise noise on poolside and distractions. If your child is new to swim lessons we are happy for you to watch the first couple lessons. No spectators in the main pool please but you can view the lessons from the adult lounge.
You can track your child’s progression in your personal Homeportal. Please register via thirdspace.courseprogress.co.uk You’ll need your child’s Coursepro Membership which you’ll find in your swim confirmation email.
If you need to change day and time you can request this with the Swim Manager swimming.islington@thirdspace.london. If your child is ready to move up you’ll receive a ‘congratulations’ email. You’ll then be able to go onto your Homeportal (thirdspace.courseprogress.co.uk) to pick your new class.
